Secure Logistics

The need to securely track and trace products, documents, parcels, pallets, containers and products throughout the world becoming ever more pressing. Postal and courier companies operate very complex distribution chains on a daily basis and have already deployed a high level of automation. They constantly face increasing pressure to improve efficiencies. Brand owners need to validate that the products being sold with their brand name are authentic and safe for consumers. Manufacturers require more effective tracking of their reusable assets such as trays, pallets, roll-cages, totes and kegs in order to reduce cost and improve return on the investment for those assets. The military needs to ensure their supplies are located at all times and reach the warfighter at the most appropriate time.

Container Logistics

Container tracking involves multiple parties being responsible for transportation of items within a container and safety and security of all items in it. The BRICs framework by QID provides a mechanism to record aggregate information of all items within the container at packing time on a QID S4 tag which can be a LOCK attachment and real time tracking of the Container at every Scan point through its GPS enabled AIM Device.

Warehouse Management

The key issues in Warehouse management are effective floor space utilization and fast and accurate track and pick mechanism in a sprawling warehouse which can be achieved by Case, Carton , Pallet or Bin level tracking of items in a Bin in the most cost effective way using minimum RFID Readers and Tags using QID's S4 tags and AIM Readers. The LOQUATOR software from QID enables real time tracking, searching and active finding by search parameters.

Integrated UID and RFID

UID and RFID are separate DoD initiatives using different technologies and different business rules. Implementing them one after the other or both of them together has been a challenge for many DoD suppliers. Our solution provides a seamless transition from 1D barcodes to implementing UID with 2D barcodes. Easy integration with Gen2 passive RFID allows leveraging existing infrastructure and compliance with current mandates. AIM is the only device currently on the market capable of working with 1D, 2D Barcodes and RFID technology at the same time.
