VTS - Vehicle Tracking System:

Large manufacturing facilities or plants have a need to track all vehicles entering and exiting their premises at all times. Any deviation from an assigned route needs to be reported for security reasons. VTS provides a completely automated mechanism to track all vehicles within the premise. The system notifies departments such as goods loading about arrival of vehicles in the loading area thereby avoiding delays in loading operations. It also minimizes the time drivers might spend in areas such as the cafeteria thus reducing the overall expense incurred by companies in transportation costs.

HARDWARE COMPONENTS:

AIM 3000 UHF RFID Mobile Handheld Computer

TM3000 RFID Fixed reader and antenna system

Active UHF RFID Tag


SOFTWARE COMPONENTS:

Commissioning Module -

Captures vehicle data, driver data such as name, phone number, driving license number etc and associates to the tag issued. Battery based active tags are used for long range detection of vehicles.

Tracking Module -

Captures vehicle data within an area of a active reader. A reader network installed the entire premise enables capture of movement and route movement within the reader network.

Alert Mechanism -

Sends alters to the supervisors managing various operations in a plant to inform them of arrival / departure of vehicles in their area. Also provides alerts to security personnel if violations are detected.

Reporting Module -

Provides daily and monthly reports of vehicle movement.
