QID developed packaged gas cylinder identification and tracking system is an industry solution deployed on Ultra High Frequency RFID Technology (UHF-RFID) denoted ULTRA. It features industry’s longest (> 10 meters) and shortest (2 centimeters) range for reading/writing information on metallic cylinders. Built on patent pending technology, ULTRA provides all the necessary components to enable item level tracking of cylinders that is desirable by gas manufacturers, distributors, regulators and customers. ULTRA compliments and extends the functionality provided by commercial cylinder management systems like CU-TIMS and ERP systems like SAP, JD Edwards by providing easy integration via open APIs. Plant operation module –
consists of commissioning, refilling, inventory management, electronic process forms, preventive maintenance and recall management activities
Delivery operations module – consists of truck loading/unloading events, customer site deliveries and pick-ups, customer signature capture, field asset verification and inventory management
Automated Portal module – consists of plant asset movement tracking and customer site inventory level tracking using an automated fixed reader and antenna setup.
Web reporting module – consists of new order entries, inventory availability reports, daily delivery reports, customer usage reports and business intelligence reporting
ERP interface module – consists of prebuilt interfaces to SAP, JD Edwards and other ERP systems built upon Microsoft Biztalk server adapter
