ROW - RFID Optimized Warehouse Management Solution for Cross Industries:


A typical warehouse for a manufacturing company contains a wide variety of items in their size, material and shape. ROW is a warehouse management solution that automatically records all IN/OUT movements of items and provides real time visibility to the storage location of every item stored in a warehouse. ROW deploys a combination of GEN 2 passive RFID tags and UHF active tags to allow tracking of small items as well as large metallic objects like pipes and machinery that is stored on multi storied shelves or floor areas of a warehouse. ROW is integrated with backend ERP systems like SAP making a link between the physical world and backend ERP information seamless.

SOFTWARE COMPONENTS:

Item Identification Module-

Allows tagging of all items received by the warehouse. This module is linked with goods receipt module of ERP systems.

Gate Movement Module-

Automatically provides automatic entry and exit timestamps for all items passing from the gates of a warehouse. It serves as a verification system to inventory management systems as well as serves the purpose of automatic electronic surveillance and audit trails.

Location Movement Module-

Records every physical movement of items within a warehouse and sends back its location to the backend system in real time. Initial as well as interim movements are captured and the most current location is stored for easy search and retrieval.

Reporting Module-

Provides web based location maps of items in a warehouse as well as the status of any operations/service being performed on such items.
