ART - Automated Road Test Solution for Government Agency:

ART provides a completely unbiased evaluation of a driver’s performance during while obtaining a new driver’s license. A track is prepared using concrete bricks embedded with RFID tracks. A mobile reader attached to the vehicles identifies the precise track of the vehicle and provides a real time plot of the vehicle path. Human errors in judgment can thus be avoided thereby improving road safety.

SOFTWARE COMPONENTS

Commissioning Module -

Associated Department of Motor Vehicle data with test data. Details such as driver name, application number, vehicle identification information and test number are recorded.

Scanning Module -

Mobile RFID reader activates Passive RFID tags embedded in concrete bricks used for building the testing track. Module is capable of storing such data on this own data storage or can transmit to base station real time.

Base Station Module -

Receives data transmitted by scanning module and plots a graph of the vehicles traversed path real time.
